Founded by Henri Martin, Château Gloria is an iconic reference among the fine wines of Saint-Julien, an appellation located on Bordeaux's Left Bank. This estate’s distinctiveness lies in its strong vineyard, meticulously built up by Henri Martin through the acquisition of plots of vines from Grands Crus Classés in 1855 The vineyards are planted 65% to Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The wines are fermented in stainless steel and aged for a minimum of 14 months in about 60% new and 40% used French oak barrels. Château Gloria wines are typically firm at the outset, showing their well-structured breed and their dependable ability to age for several years. A classic Left Bank Bordeaux at a very nice price
